My Quest for Spiritual Knowledge

Life after to death became a normal part of my life and conversations. As did re-incarnation. The healing skills of some people, particullarly Mathew Manning, a 'coincidence' occurs here as Lee's son attended the same school as Mathew Manning, long before I knew Lee.

Not once did I doubt or really question the authenticity of each author but I think I was looking for confirmation that it was ok for me to participate in this rather unique supernatural world.

I had been recommended Two Worlds a monthly magazine featuring Spiritualism and the Supernormal. I still have several copies the earliest being October 1978 No 4017.

The editor was Maurice Barbanell. He believed he had been reincarnated to devote his life to Spiritualism. He was the 'vehicle' for the teachings of the 'Guide' Silver Birch.

The magazine was in its 91st year. It was founded in 1887 by Emma Hardinge Britten who played a pivotal role in Spiritualism. She was an inspiring speaker, platform medium and regularly held seances. She was the founder of the 7 principles of Spiritualism, a living personal philosophy.

One of the regular writers in the magazine was Peggy Mason. She had written 2 books

Tales of Two Worlds and New Age Companion both difficult books to put down!

I wrote a long letter to Peggy about my many experiences and asked for her advice.

I still have her reply and this is what she wrote to me  on November 3rd 1978.
